Dhevatara move one step closer to realising their plans for their own Private Island with a visit by The Seychelles Environmental Agency to inspect plans for the proposed private villa development. The development will also include a Club House with a Tennis Court, 9-Hole Golf Course, Restaurant, Helipad and Marina. Loy Krathong is celebrated on the full moon night of the twelfth lunar month of the Thai calendar every year. This year it falls on November 12th. The festival is held to give thanks to the Goddess of River and to ask for amnesty in polluting the waterways. The word "Loy" means to float and "Krathong" means a banana-leaf cup.
