Dhevatara listed in Thailand’s Real Estate Power 99
Stephen Owen, Owner’s Representative of Dhevatara, has been included in Thailand’s Real Estate Power 99, an annual publication recently launched by Ensign Media, profiling the individuals they consider to be the major players in Thai real estate today. The directory can be regarded as a review of who and what is important in the Thai real estate industry by including the top developers, agents, consultancies, lawyers, construction companies, architects, interior designers and other peripheral players. The Power 99 focuses on both Thai and foreign people involved in Thailand’s residential sector. There are many top Thai businessmen included in this publication such as Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, CEO of Charoen Pokphand Group, who presides over one of Asia’s leading conglomerates. 
Stephen Owen worked as a project manager on various developments around the world along side Neil Helliwell, CEO of construction giant PPI, for more than 12 years.
When Helliwell purchased a plot of beachfront land now known as Dhevatara Cove on Samui, he invited Owen to view it. The promise of the island and the land plot meant that shortly afterwards the pair decided to form what is now Dhevatara Properties Co., Ltd.
The firm pitched itself as a lifestyle developer and the Dhevatara Brand has since grown to be one oft Samui’s most well-known. The company has also led the way in stressing the importance of charitable work, and has built a library and sports hall in a local school as a sign of good will towards the local community.
